About this space

Welcome to The Wocka Spot where my motto on life is to LEARN:

Live Boldly and Laugh Often

Embrace My Mistakes and Failures

Act with Passion – but Maintain My Logical Brain

Reach Beyond What Limits Me

And Never Give Up!

Does your current mindset hold you back? Are you someone who doesn’t always do the right thing, but you’re ready to learn from your mistakes and be better? Do you want to start (or restart), right now, to live your life with the joy and happiness you so deserve?

So do I! Personal development has been a passion of mine throughout my life, and I’ve come to realize it’s an ongoing process and it always will be. We are not perfect beings. We were probably never meant to be. But that’s okay! I used to long for perfection, but as Vince Lombardi once said, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.”

My motive for creating this site is twofold. First, I enjoy writing about my experiences, and I wish to share them with all of you. Secondly, I’m hoping this site can turn into a mutually beneficial forum, where people can come together and learn from one another in hopes that they will feel empowered to venture out and live their best lives.

Things won’t always be easy. Sometimes in order to live our best lives, we will need to pursue certain changes, and the internal and external work involved in cultivating those changes will be difficult. While I can’t promise any magical transformations, I will discuss many of the the subjects that drive us mad or elude us, including Mindset Management, Stress Management, Time Management, Weight Management, and Financial Management, all with a few personal anecdotes thrown in. You may also see the occasional guest “speaker” because having only one perspective on things will never do.

Only you can decide what will ultimately work for you. So I may not always offer you the answers you seek, but I do hope I can provide you with some additional insight or at least offer another lens in which to view your situation. And sometimes the way our lives take off once we break through those old patterns can feel like magic…

Btw, I would love to hear your feedback! If you have a specific question or just want to offer your two cents, please feel free to comment on any of my posts or email me on my Contact page.
